About Victor Monnin

Victor graduated in Contemporary Philosophy from the Panthéon Sorbonne University, as well as in History and Theory of the Arts from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. He received his PhD in Epistemology and History of Science from the University of Strasbourg. His research focuses primarily on the history of paleontology and the representation of the deep past in popular culture. Currently based in New York City, he teaches History at John Jay College, City University of New York.
