About Paula De La Cruz-Fernández

I am an experienced researcher in the history of multinational companies and international business, gender studies, and cultural history in Latin America and Southern Europe. My book Gendered Capitalism: Sewing Machines and Multinational Business in Spain and Mexico, 1850-1940 came out in 2021.

I am also a bilingual editor and consultor with Edita, providing assistance in all stages of the writing process, from proposals to proofs. After years of experience in digital archives and repositories, I have also developed a passion for digital projects that connect scholarly work and archives with the broader public.
