About Joan Matamoros
Estoy interesado en hacer entrevistas tanto en español como en inglés. I am interested in doing interviews in both english and spanish. SPANISH-Soy un antropólogo comprometido con la divulgación de conocimiento, no solo en general, sino con lo concerniente al género y la salud. Por esa razón he dedicado varios años de mi vida a ello, tanto en mi plataforma de Spotify como en otros espacios. En paralelo a lo antes mencionado, he llevado a cabo una vida de excelencia académica en una de las universidades más prestigiosas de Latinoamérica: La Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Esto significa que tengo mucha experiencia en la investigación, particularmente la etnográfica, por lo que se conducir entrevistas con distintos tipos de gente en distintos contextos. ENGLISH- I am an anthropologist strongly committed to the dissemination of anthropological knowledge, not only in general, but also concerning gender and health matters. For that reason, I have spent a big part of my life devoted to this quest, this can be attested in my bilingual platform on Spotify. Prior to this, I have accumulated a number of years of experience working on a variety of platforms. Parallel to the aforementioned, I have carried out an academic life of excellence in one of Latin America´s most prestigious universities: UNAM- Mexico´s National and Autonomous University. I have a long experience on ethnographic research, which means I can conduct interaction and interviews in very different contexts.Joan Francisco Matamoros-Sanin is an anthropologist with a PhD in Sociomedical Sciences from Mexico´s National Autonomous University (UNAM).
