About Lorena Turner

Lorena has a MFA IN photography from the University of Oregon, studied sociology at the New School in NYC and teaches visual communication in the Communication Department at Cal Poly Pomona, outside of Los Angeles. In addition to being an author (The Michael Jacksons, an ethnographic monograph published in 2014), Lorena has published books in photography and graphic design. She has been intermittently a host on the NBN since 2017.
