Andrzej Nedoma: CEO, Entrepreneur, Consultant, and Speaker

Summary

Andrzej Nedoma talks about how he saw his father start a translation business when he was a boy and observed the stresses, pressures and successes of having a solo-entrepreneur in the family. How his love of coding and maths, plus the rewards the Polish system gives prize winners drove him to high achievement at school, and then how moved into the family business effectively as a co-founder. He shares the inspiration he got from mistakenly thinking that translation industry event attendees had all arrived in flashy expensive cars, the benefits of finding mentors, and how he saw the need for a professional Translation Management System - which led to the founding of XTRF. He openly shares the challenges he faced, the impact of raising money and the process of buying back shares from the external investor in such a way that everyone was happy. He shares his motivations to do coaching and consulting, and how he dreams of being the Polish “Tony Robbins”.

The NBN Entrepreneurship and Leadership podcast aims to educate and entertain, sharing insights based on the personal story of our carefully selected guests aiming for the atmosphere of an informal conversation in a bar or over a cup of coffee.
