I'm a scholar of modern Eastern Europe with a focus on Romania, gender, and everyday life. My current project explores Romania's (and more broadly the Eastern Bloc's) relationship with the Global South during the Cold War, and I'm currently coediting a book on postsocialist Eastern Europe. I am particularly interested in cultural, gender, and everyday life history; 20th Century Europe (East and West); the Cold War; and transnational history. I also have a degree in psychology and an interest in art, philosophy, and intellectual history.
