Brady McCartney is an interdisciplinary environmental social scientist whose work has been featured at academic conferences, including the American Society for Environmental History and the American Academy of Religion. His work bridges the fields of religious studies, history, ecology, American studies, and political studies. Brady has taught at the University of New Mexico and multiple Bard College campuses, co-founded three educational institutions—two college campuses and one high school, and served on the boards of three non-profit organizations. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in Religion & Ecology and Environmental History at the University of Florida and serving as an Editorial Assistant for the "Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture."
