I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology researching women athletes in Ethiopia and I do freelance writing about sports, culture politics, labor, and capitalism. My work has been in VICE, Jewish Currents, LARB, Current Affairs, Scalawag, Full Stop, and others.

Hannah Borenstein is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Cultural Anthropology at Duke University. Her dissertation research is an ethnographic study about women long distance runners from Ethiopia.
