About Miguel Monteiro

My name is Miguel Monteiro, I am from Portugal, and I am a first year graduate student in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Yale University. I am at the Classical Near East track, which focuses on the Middle East in the centuries of Late Antiquity and the Early Islamic period. I did my BA in Classics (Philosophy Minor), and my MA in Classics (roughly the same) with a focus on Leonardo Bruni, the Italian Renaissance Humanist, both at the University of Coimbra, in Portugal. Apart from the subjects I study, I am also interested in Cinema, Philosophy, and the History of Capitalism.

Miguel Monteiro is a PhD student in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Yale University. Twitter @anphph
