About Leslie Waters

My work is on borderlands, territorial changes, and ethnic cleansing in 20th century Eastern Europe. I teach courses on European history, global history of human rights, ethnic cleansing and genocide, nationalism, history of socialism, and comparative borderlands. My next project is on the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and the economic and political re-imagining of Europe in the 1990s.
