About Atreyee Majumder

I am an anthropologist by training, with an activist interest (since the last four years) in Hinduism, theology in general, and the Bhakti tradition to be specific. My first book _Time, Space, and Capital_ was published by Routledge in 2018. I remain an avid reader of literary studies, critical theory, and a bit South Asian history and cultural studies. I am co-host for the podcast The Big Book Project. I am based in Bangalore, and currently Assistant Professor, Sociology at the National Law School of India University. I am also a poet and an amateur violinist.
