Kyle Hauptman (National Credit Union Administration Vice Chairman) speaks on his beginnings working in finance, as an economic policy advisor on the Mitt Romney Presidential campaign as well as in Congress before becoming Vice Chairman of the NCUA, one of the top U.S. financial regulators overseeing approximately 5,000 credit unions which count over 140 million members. Jon Hartley is an economics researcher with interests in international macroeconomics, finance, and labor economics and is currently an economics PhD student at Stanford University. He is also currently a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity, a Senior Fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, and a research associate at the Hoover Institution.
