About Theo Stapleton

I am a current PhD student in Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. My own work is on a Chinese Buddhist mission in Tanzania, and my interests are both in China and Africa, along with the anthropology of religion and ethics. I have really enjoyed this network and would love to contribute to it. I am especially keen on interviewing some of the authors whose works have helped and inspired me, like Seligman and Weller's 'How things count as the same" (2018). I would also like to interview some people who have worked on China-Africa topics, especially those who have conducted extensive fieldwork.
