About Liza Veale
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, instructor at the Access Institute for Psychological Services in San Francisco and editor with the psychoanalytic journal fort da. Prior to retraining as a therapist, I was an audio journalist for almost a decade; I worked in local public radio as well as longform narrative podcasting. I am interested in contemporary, relational psychoanalysis -- both clinical technique and broader cultural applications of theory. I have been listening to the psychoanalysis channel of NBN for years and it finally occurred to me that I could host!
