About Tiatemsu Longkumer

I am from Nagaland, India, belonging to the Ao Naga Tribe. I have an M.Sc. in Cultural Anthropology and an MA in Philosophy. My Ph.D. work was on Indigenous religion and Christianity among the Nagas of Nagaland. My area of interest lies in the philosophical and lived aspects of religion, looking at its economic and socio-political intricacies.

Dr. Tiatemsu Longkumer is a faculty in the Dept. of Anthropology at Royal Thimphu College, Bhutan. He specializes in 'Anthropology of Religion.' Dr. Longkumer's Ph.D. work was on Indigenous religion and Christianity among the Nagas of Nagaland: India. He is currently working on Buddhism in Bhutan.
