I'm a PhD researcher in anthropological studies at Queen's University Belfast, currently conducting research for my project entitled 'Queer Experiences During the Troubles: The Everyday and the Erased'. My interests lie in the intersection of queer studies, ethnonationalism, Irish studies and post-colonial studies, with each of these disciplines' influences being apparent in my own theoretical approach to my doctoral research. I'm eager to continue research on queer experience within the NI context, as well as research on the cross-section of queerness and ethnonationalism in the region.
