About Troy Hallsell
Troy A. Hallsell, PhD is the 341st Missile Wing Historian at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. My day-to-day duties require me to chronicle and analyze the wing's activities throughout the calendar year. My annual command history report and special studies not only captures the wing's past events, but also provides leaders the historical foundation upon which they make present-day decisions. In my own time I research and write about urban history topics, infrastructure, historic preservation, and outdoor recreation.
