Sportswriter at The Stuart (Fla.) News from 1980 to 1988, where I won 12 statewide awards for deadline writing, columns, investigative reporting and design. Majored in journalism at the University of Florida and earned a master's degree in American history at Southern New Hampshire University. Baseball history fan, love history and genealogy.
