Dear New Books Network team, I'm Alisa, a History PhD Candidate in Cultural Cold War History (I focus on the U.S. and the Soviet Union, specifically in the 1970s and 1980s.) I love getting to know people, I love public presentations, I love to keep the balance between the serious and slightly humorous. I am curently working on a chapter on the wives of Soviet dissidents. Listened to a bunch of Russian and Eurasian studies episodes while making food. I am a fan!
I recorded, edited, and produced a podcast before, but we wrapped up after one season and I really miss hosting and interviewing. The podcast is in Russian but you can listen to the production quality and my general vibe: https://linktr.ee/po_tsvetam
Because I am currently immersed in all things research, I am mostly interested in history-related projects. But if you think we would be a match for other channels, I would be happy to connect and be of help!
Warmly,
Alisa
