About Christian Nielsen
I am an associate professor of history and human security at Aarhus University in Denmark. My main focus is on modern Balkan history, but I have also worked as an analyst and expert witness for the UN's International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, the International Criminal Court and several domestic jurisdictions. For this reason, I am also interested in genocide studies, international criminal law/justice and human rights.Christian Axboe Nielsen is associate professor of history and human security at Aarhus University in Denmark.
