About Hannah Freed-Thall

I'm a French professor at NYU and I specialize in modernist literature, environmental humanities, and queer/ feminist studies. I've written two academic books-- the second of which (Modernism at the Beach) was featured on NBN-- and I'm interested in branching out in a more public humanities direction. I was also recently featured on the Proust season of the the "Cosmic Library" podcast. I'd love to interview authors who have written books engaging the interface between literature, ecological thought, and/or queer/ trans studies.
