About Amanie Antar

I am Post Doctoral Fellow at the Institute of Islamic Studies at University of Toronto where I research premodern iterations of anti-Islamic discourse in the medieval and early modern Mediterranean context. I also analyze the powerful counternarratives/movements forged in the wake of divisive polemics and the enduring significance of such modalities of resistance.
