About Satoko Naito
Satoko Naito teaches as a docent of Japanese studies at the Centre for East Asian Studies, University of Turku, Finland. Research interests include Japanese literature, cultural history, and gender studies. She received her B.A. in Comparative literature and M.A. and Ph.D. in Japanese literature from Columbia University. Before a family relocation to Finland, she was an assistant professor of Japanese literature at the University of Maryland, College Park.Satoko Naito is a docent of Japanese studies at the Centre for East Asian Studies, University of Turku, Finland. Research interests include Japanese literature, cultural history, and gender studies.
