I am a Bateman Scholar and Double First Class Graduate in English Literature from Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge. I am currently training to be a child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist at the Tavistock. My research focuses on how prisons, alternative provisions and secure units shape patient and staff interactions, particularly those marked by violence. I was a judge for the 2026 Koestler Poetry Awards for writers in prison and secure units. I use poetry to explore the limits and fringes of meaning, and to think about the interactions that happen in the consulting room.
