About Shreya Urvashi

I am Shreya Urvashi, a doctoral fellow at the Centre for Studies in Sociology of Education, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. My PhD work aims to understand the role and purpose of public universities through an exploration of student experiences. My research interests include sociology of education, youth identity and politics, and critical theory.
