I am a first year PhD student at Queen Mary University London's Centre for Labour, Sustainability and Global Production (CLaSP). My research focuses on the political economy of the European Green Deal. More specifically, I'm interested in the EU's effort to decarbonize inorganic nitrogenous fertilizer supply chains, which involves substituting cheap Russian natural gas with renewably-sourced (green) hydrogen feedstock from North African suppliers.
I have written several articles on the politics of the energy transition and industrial decarbonization. I've been a podcast subscriber for many years. The New Books Network has been an incredible resource for me over the years and it would be a real honor to contribute in the future.
