I am currently a graduate student in the Urban Education Policy Program at Brown University. My research interests focused on the intersections between race, gender, and education inequalities. Additionally, my research and professional interests are grounded in the educational experiences of Black youth, particularly Black boyhood, and educational outcomes in the U.S. North and South. Before pursuing graduate school, I taught both high school and middle school Math and coached high school football.
