Jon Powell is Chair of Enterprise Educators UK - a membership organisation for Universities, Colleges and private sector organisations to support enterprise educators. Head of Enterprise and Innovation Services and resident expert on enterprise education and business Growth Hubs at Lancaster University. Jon Powell has experience in supporting technology and knowledge-based start-up companies including University spin-outs. I have worked closely with hundreds of start-up companies (including but not limited to student and graduate start-ups) providing advice, guidance and in some cases acting as a Non-Exec Director. Support varies from market research, analysis, business planning, governance structures and financial planning. Fifteen years of experience as a Director of a local SME. Employer Solutions Ltd are employee relations specialists providing consultancy, training and employee handbooks. Also Director of Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce, and member of the board for the Chartered Association of Business Schools, Small Business Charter.
