We talked about the long history of this idea, and how it might be resisted in the present. Sarah Bracke is Professor of the Sociology of Gender and Sexuality at the University of Amsterdam, and Luis Manuel Hernández Aguilaran is an associate researcher at the European University Viadrina. They are the co-editors of The Politics of Replacement (2024).
