About Magna Mohapatra

I am a PhD candidate in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in History and Communications. I study Indian stand-up comedy culture and the creative labour industry in India and the US. My related research interests include cultural politics, critical theory, psychoanalysis, decolonial theory, Indology, humour, affect, indigenous studies, urban studies and film studies. I find NBN to be an engaging medium to talk about all the fascinating books that surround us.
