About Yadong Li

Yadong is a PhD candidate in anthropology at the Tulane University of Louisiana. Through his ethnographic and archival research, he wants to know how power constantly shapes environments, how hope emerges out of ruination, and how how hope inevitably becomes entangled in power dynamics. Feel free to chat with him by email: yli88@tulane.edu / lydooooong@gmail.com.
I am an anthropologist-in-training, with a regional focus on East Asia, particularly China's northwestern regions. I am interested in anthropology of ethics, ecological anthropology, and critical infrastructure studies.
